My poor Jonny was sick, but it didnt stop him from singing Jingle Bells!
Everyone is getting ready for the holidays. Wicket relaxes by the stockings...
...and Izzy is always trying to help me craft.
The holiday's aren't complete without cookies!
This year I picked out 5 different recipes!
Our beloved biscochitos!!! The recipe is a family secret~
Maura & Audrey came over to help!
Mau-town was really excited about the thumb print cookies~
A light dusting of powdered sugar...
...and a little bit of raspberry jelly!
YUM!
I even made peanut butter cookies!!
That weekend we went to the "Blossoms of Light" at the Botanic Gardens.
We bundled up for the walk.
We laughed & sang Christmas carols along the trails.
There were even ice sculptures!
Awesome!
Hey look, we found some friends in a tree!
Jess' famous walking photography!
Maura went off the path to check on our bush.
That poor bush could use a trim!
Jonny loved al the lights, he would gasp when anything sparkled, lol.
My wub.
Phillips moment.
We walked into the nursery area to get warm for a bit.
These are my in-laws Kevin & Penny. They rule!
I saw Jake sit down on a bench. For some reason I looked up and started laughing!
"Did you really just sit under mistletoe!?!"
He sure did!
One of the best treats for this Christmas was
the GIANT snowstorm we had on Thursday!
There was over a foot of snow at the Phillips homestead.
Jake was nice enough to shovel the whole thing!
I'm really excited that Christmas is finally here... and that I'm almost able to post pictures of all the craft gifts I've been working on!
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas,
The Phillips
