Day 24 - A picture of something you wish you could change.

Change? Life is full of change. It surrounds us. We can change our appearance, we can change careers, we can change the way we spend money or the way we spend our time. We can help someone in need change their life or we can change the color of our walls. In some ways it is undefined.

But this subject is about wish, not change.

A wish is defined as: to feel or express a strong desire or hope for something that is not easily attainable.

I wish for that hug you see to happen over and over and over again.

Day 23 - A picture of your favorite book.

Does it surprise you that my favorite book is a graphic novel? I love Tank Girl. She's the complete package. She's got a hot bod, crazy style, a mouth like a sailor, a sense of adventure, she's hated, loved,... and she has a TANK! Hell-o! What's not to love?

Day 22 - A picture of something you wish you were better at.

I wish I could sew a pattern or even make up a pattern as I go. Sadly I'm not very good at either. It might help to be better at something by practicing it more, but I just cant seem to find the time for sewing projects these days. What can I say... Im sort of popular. Haha!

Day 20 - A picture of somewhere you'd love to travel.

I would love, love, love to go to Costa Rica.

Its a relatively cheap place to travel. Like its name translates, its rich with life.

Everything is green and luscious.

Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice

My friend Marika and I made a date for Friday. We where going to take a walk or go see a movie, but the weather was bad, and neither of us really wanted to see a movie.

"You know what I do when its cold out?" Marika said. 

"Whats that?" I replied. "Make cookies!"

She brought over her Pillsbury cookie book and we went to work deciding what to make.

We picked two recipes. A fresh orange cookie with frosting and a lemon tea cookie with filling.

Get a load of these babies!

Sweets always make me smile.
