J. Love and Nerdy Sauce

Remember when I told you about the unusual weather in Denver this January? Temperatures dropped to -12 degrees!!!!  This is my front door. The scary part is that the ice isn't on the outside, its on the inside...

It was so cold in the morning, that my car, Squeak, didn't want to start. I had to go get Jake out of bed in the wee hours of the morning so he could give it a shot. Luckily Jake has the midas touch!

P.S. It's custom in our family to name our cars. Like Badger (Jake), Joan Jetta (Maura), Charleston S-10 (Cousin Mike), Lola (Micaela), Taffy (Sheena), Heartface (Audrey). Everyone should name their car!

The next day I had to work. Stacey and I thought it would be cool to go get photos of the yarn bombing that's near our building. The ladies responsible are called "Ladies Fancywork Society". There is a link to them on my blog if you want to see more of their work.

I really like the ants!

This makes me get the crafty bug, big time!

Danger, flowers.

Then we walked over to the new "My favorite Muffin" for some treats.

Look at Stacey holding her bag-o-muffins. Giggle.

Holy crap! Blueberry Cheesecake, Plain Blueberry, Lemon Poundcake and Raspberry Amaretto.

That night we went to dinner with some of my other favorite muffins, Audrey & Jonny. Another classic cheese face from my most handsome nephew. Lock up your daughters!!

Since it was still so cold out, we decided to settle into our warm couch for the rest of the night.

Notice anything different about the Phillips'?

I didn't know that when you turn 30 things start to fall apart.

Definitely white and nerdy.

We look so smart.... S.M.R.T

As long as its just our eyeballs that need fixing, Im ok with that.

  2. Everything continues to fall apart after your 30th birthday. I'm just hoping not break anything more than a pinky in my 33rd year.
